When I think of 50s movies, this is THE MOVIE I think of. Great write up! Thank you!

It is an awesome movie, especially for us screenwriters. An interesting side note: When Joe Gillis goes to Paramount to pitch his project, Betty Schaefer enters the office. This is not only how these two intersect, it's also when she effectively shoots down Joe's project by reading coverage of it.
