The element of fear inherent in writing can be so crippling and paralyzing, I wonder sometimes why we put ourselves through it. Yet we all know why we do it, and that we can't help ourselves. Only those who write can really experience the fear and the joy that follows from powering through it. With so many pro screenwriters who freely share information and knowledge, why listen to the "experts" who don't actually write and who don't understand this fear and joy?
