I've written only one action film in my "career" and it was horrid rubbish. It's one area I've always wanted to improve in and this interview is a nice inspiration. Thanks for posting this Scott!

I've read a ton of action scripts and one of the best reads still is The Matrix. Great structure, style, concept, the whole thing just works.

Couldn't agree with you more. It's a great read. One of those films where the moon, the stars, and the planets were all in alignment and classic was born.

I remember being dragged kicking and screaming to see it on opening night. I knew very little about it other than Reeves was the star, whom I traditionally can't stand.

As the film unfolded to a packed house, I leaned over to my buddy and whispered, "What the hell is going on? This is brilliant!"
