Cheaper to shoot than Lost?

Nah, seriously - forcing strangers to interact in order to survive is basically just human life exposed, isn't it? If we were all separated from our families and friends...what would we look like, what would we do? Great for instant conflict, Lord of the Flies type groupings. The idea that they're all strangers is a great way to pull audience - opposed to an already established group/family that I have to work to get to know. So I'm a stranger with them. Go on the journey with them.

Plus, the budget will be nil. Seriously, an endless (seemingly) field? Just put them in a field, surround them with green screens, and have them act. Talk about the easiest location shoot ever.

It's also a fascinating premise. I don't know about you, but the instant I read it my mind was off wondering how the hell it would work. What would happen. All those great things.
