I've never truly been a fan of Bette Midler. Ironically for me her best performance is in a movie wherein she doesn't sing. The good news is, your illustration with this clip works for the theme. I wouldn't call this particular film a musical, however, as there's only this one song that is sung by the cast itself.

Re musicals: Will suggested a few other movies which ARE musicals, I just didn't include those in his comments. I liked Midler's performance in Down and Out in Beverly Hills and Outrageous Fortune. In general, she was great in those 80s-early 90s comedies.
