Thanks for that, Jeff. Did you know there are over 16,000 posts on the blog? The archives literally have thousands of them hosted as an ongoing, active resource for writers. Beyond the depth of content, I also hope readers appreciate the quality of the posts. I have nearly three decades experience as a professional, working writer, having written nearly 30 projects for every major studio and almost every network broadcast TV network. There are some things a person simply cannot understand unless s/he has been on the front line of working as a writer in Hollywood. I try to bring that experience and perspective to what I post here. Given the fact I am more well-connected now to Hollywood than I ever have been, the insight and information I traffic in on a daily basis is completely current. And while the ideas expressed here are my own, I honestly believe readers will be hard pressed to find another online resource with the depth, quality and consistency of content that emerges here every day. In about a week, I will begin Year 8 of this blog. I look forward to continuing the dialogue with GITS readers and helping to support writers and filmmakers in their quest to create stories that move them forward in their careers. Onward!

Good to hear, Lois. Always appreciate finding out from folks the blog has some value in their lives. Re sleep: While I am certainly not immune to work, I'm able to schedule posts here on the blog and tweets on Twitter, so while it may appear I am doing stuff online at all hours, items go live per the magic of high tech calendars. That I could confess that "Scott Myers" is simply a name I use for a dozen unpaid interns I have sequestered in a South Pacific island, chained to desks tapping away on social media, and force fed protein bars and coconut milk for sustenance. Red pill. Blue pill. YOU decide!

I'll agree with all of these. Any time I need a boost (or a tip, or have some leisure time, or am writing) I come here. Your hard work is VERY much appreciated and I think many people are in your debt, including myself.
