I'm thinking if people take to this, we can keep this up for at least a few months. Every week, we provide a scene-by-scene breakdown of a movie script, then do an intensive structural analysis of it. Aggregate those, they become a great resource. Also we will begin to add scripts from 2014 as the For Your Consideration season gets underway. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to participate. And if anyone else wants to join in, the offer still stands: One free Core or Craft class for each person who provides a scene-by-scene breakdown.

Sure, Shari. See above comment, we may just run this weekly series for as long as we can. It's such a helpful exercise to break down a script to its component parts, then dig into it to see how it plays out structurally in terms of plot points, sequences. So Flight would be great. Thanks!

Seems I'm a little bit late to the party. :-) I'd like to volunteer for the next months. I'm still undecided between "Mud" and "All is lost". Mud because I've read great things about it and I haven't watched the movie, so I guess it will be interesting to analyze the screenplay before watching the movie. All is lost because it's practically a silent movie with only one protagonist and one location. That would also be really, really interesting to analyze and talk about.
