One of the famous phrases that came out of the Watergate scandal, "Follow the money" is NOT in the book nor in any document pertaining to the scandal. The words were put in the mouth of Deep Throat by the screenwriter,William Goldman. The chapter in Goldman's "Adventures of the Screen Trade" about how he wrestled and winnowed down the Pulitzer Prize winning book to a movie script is worth reading. (Even better: read the whole book.)

Thanks for the tip pgronk, just ordered the book ! I'd do anything to carry on procrastinating from writing my script, it might as well be a good old read about screenwriting ;-)
