In a strange way, I feel that T2 not only exceeds the original but actually enhances it. The original is actually a better story as part of a two story arc than it is by itself.

Very, Very true William. I agree. "Terminator 2" is a strong story separately but it does make 'The Terminator" even better as a 2movie storyline. This speaks to the highly genius level talent that is James Cameron. I love James Cameron's dedication to writing strong female lead characters, his natural strength for science fiction and his epic expression of high concept stories.
