70 days....but how do you even do that? Every screenplay is a different animal....just because I know I can nail my spec doesn't mean I am sure I can nail someone else's idea or some story I said off the cuff in the meeting. Sometimes you don't know what you have until you've spent a couple of months with that idea.....

Here's a C word. Skeptical. (Okay, it has a C in it somewhere). Anyway being in that state of mind, I'd say one way to be consistent is to lower your standards (assuming they're high to begin with). Any script of a super high standard is one of a kind. You can't write one Shawshank Redemption after another, can you? On the other hand, I don't think Frank Darabont thought very much of his script anyway (based on Steven King's novel). But what do I know,?
