I love the movie Adaptation so much, and I love Kaufman. As for movies I wish I'd written, there are many but I'll go with "Being John Malkovich." Close seconds are "The Desendants" and "Eternal Sunshine." I'll stop myself there.

I would have to say, The Perfect Getaway (the twist was amazing to read, not so amazing to watch) and Shutter Island (one of the few times I went into reading a script and got so wrapped up in the story, I forgot I was reading a script.)
