It's easy to find movies with amnesia or lost identity plots but here are some TV series for inspiration: The mystery thriller This Is Not My Life, an intriguing New Zealand TV show with an amazingly integrated view of technology and society in the future. Check it out on IMDB or on YouTube. The 2012 series Awake available on Netflix. Joss Whedon's Dollhouse also on Netflix. The intelligent My Own Worst Enemy. And the fantastic gone-too-soon comedy Samantha Who? (Man, I miss that show.)

Scott I've got to say this is one of the best premises so far. It opens up for a challenging psychological drama following the protagonist's fall into madness. The problem with this story ideas is that they come at a price... they get into my head and don't let go until I have a whole setup developed. I can already see Claire falling from the top of the pyramid (in the literal sense as she falls after a bad step in her cheerleading routine). I see her disease starting off in little things: her toothbrush, her clothes. When they start moving to larger things like her dog she freaks out. However, she holds it in for as long as she can. Claire cannot confide in anyone as she has a reputation to maintain and won't risk he position at school by becoming a crazy person. However, by the time the paramnesia gets to her teachers and friends, it's already too late and she starts to really loose it. When her family are "taken over" she goes on a self-destructive path as she runs away from home getting away from the impostors who supposedly want to help her. Madness has really set in by the time she doesn't recognize her left arm anymore. I can see her standing in front of a mirror in a motel, bloody arm on one side, gun in the other. As her parents rush to her aid she raises the gun to her head she simply mutters... "I am not myself anymore". Damn, I need to get back to work.
