SUCH a firm believer in talismans. Almost every great movie has them. They're the visual representation of character arc in so many different instances. In screenwriting you're always taught to convey your ideas visually -- well, there's nothing more visual than a meaningful talisman. Talismans are present all throughout life, in all different forms, and mean so much to us emotionally. It's only right we incorporate them into our stories.
