I'm sure there are a whole legion of future Andrew Kevin Walkers that are sitting with their Trente blended cafe latte at a corner table right now that look up to Mickey Fisher....kind of the way writers looked up to Quentin Tarantino in his Pulp Fiction days (who I'm convinced 30% of his ticket sales come from film geeks that want to become him). Scott, did you ask Mickey Fisher the story behind him landing that major manager and agency....those are huge names. How did he decide which rep was best for him....that would stick with him long term with his long term best interests in mind?

Hey, Eric! Good question. I stuck with the advice I was getting from nearly everyone I asked for advice from: trust your instincts. It's hard to explain, it really was a gut feeling based on the meetings and how I saw myself. With Brooklyn Weaver it was a little easier because I'd been reading about him for ten years, ever since I was a semi-finalist in Project Greenlight 2. I remembered that he was someone people brought up on the message boards as being friendly to up and coming writers. And I'd been reading about him on things like the Scoggins Report, so I knew he could back up what he was saying. With WME, I knew their reputation, of course, and their track record in television, but it just came down to feeling like I clicked with them in the meeting and that I trusted them right away. I'd say all in all it was equal parts research and instinct.
