Hey Franklin, have there been any success stories for writers who've submitted TV pilots since last November? And how do you see or expect to see successes for TV writers differing from feature writers? Thanks!

Hi Franklin, I once looked you up on linked-in and noticed that you used to work for Mckinsey before transitioning to the entertainment industry. How did you come about the realisation that this was the career move you wanted to make and how were you able to break into the industry coming from a non-traditional background? Also, do you think the skills you learnt at McKinsey are what has helped you build your niche in the industry? Shaun

That's a good question. I'll be sure to pass that along.

Hi Franklin 1. With the writers you've dealt with who have written scripts that blew you away, what do you think was their secret to developing that voice and execution (habits, etc)? 2. If you were going to advise a writer on how to thrive as a working writer (not just a one of spec seller), what would you advise them to do to build a career?

Hi Scott, thanks for taking our questions for Franklin, 1. Couldn't make the early Disney fellowship deadline, so was wondering whether the next one will only be next year or if there are any sooner dates for those? 2. Regarding material to put up on the blacklist, is it possible to gain traction for original material that is not necessarily in the mainstream/more international but still hollywood-style in nature? What is the most important thing you are looking for about the scripts that are put up - would a script that is not necessarily typical of the hollywood main stream, but still well-written and executed have a chance? 3. Also in terms of the scores and reviews, how high would you say most of the scores need to be to consider whether to leave your hosted scripts on the list? thanks!

One last question: any chance of the blacklist partnering with producers in other countries, etc. in the near future?

I wish the Blacklist would just offer script consulting and have the option of scripts being confidential. Not everyone wants their scripts to be publicly viewed. They might want to be vetted first by script consultants... and if the consultants feel like it's great than they can give the writer the option. The current system just has writers uploading their stuff and once it's out in the consciousness its out. Hard to put that genie back in the bottle.

Some fun questions. I take it that as a movie buff you must have fallen in love with a few characters and dreamt you were the one who played it. Which character/role would that be? What is your favorite movie line/quote and why? If you could be on set of a movie, which one would that be and why? Last, have you ever written a script? What was the logline?
