i loved this film. it was my favorite film of 2005. "hyperlink cinema." just fantastic.

Agreed, a fantastic film. I've pimped the movie's production company Participant Media before. Great outfit with a very tough mandate they set for themselves:

"Participant believes that a good story well told can truly make a difference in how one sees the world. Whether it is a feature film, documentary or other form of media, Participant exists to tell compelling, entertaining stories that also create awareness of the real issues that shape our lives."

The subtext here is movies with "meaning." And it's really hard to make those type of films w/o drowning in the message.
