I think the scene where jones first is discovered by loki and we see him being out of his mind is an amazing use of developing such eagerness in the audience. First of all it maybe because we do not expect that the rv would be found so soon and the next would be when we meet this guy jones even during the interrogation it makes us say" whats wrong with this guy!"we assume that the culprit is right in front of us and such curiousity is developed, ok tell us where are the girls! Comeon! Are they alive?straighten up damn it!

Alice, the whole way the script plays the RV as a tease until they find Jones is brilliant. And your point builds off one Christopher makes in his post: How quickly the plot gets going. The kids are missing by P.10, Loki captures Jones by P.13. That's typically when the first major plot point happens. Here we've had two BIG ones. It's surprising because it leads one to think, as you note, that the case is basically solved. But there's the small detail: Extracting information from Jones, who may or may not be guilty. And that's the psychological and emotional epicenter of the story. Takeaway: What used to be the end of Act One is now often the middle of Act One. Why? I think in large part modern audiences want their stories to get started more quickly. It certainly works with Prisoners. Thanks for that, Alice, and hope you enjoyed reading the script.

Thanks Scott sir. I realised actually how much we miss some necessary details when we first watch the movie. I had watched the movie first and then came to read the script. This is actually the first script I read till the end. I have a sherlock script pending, as I have just got started. Thanks again for your guidance sir, I have come to learn a lot from your blogs=)
