Although the premise sounds thin, like you noted - it's real. Most any parent knows it's a hotbutton - one lost cell phone and the world falls apart.

Is it me -- or shouldn't the premise be something about what happens AFTER she has been cut off from her "technology?"

There's no real hook. Or stakes. The movie could simply be, a chick loses her cell phone. CUT TO: 1 week later -- Chick has cellphone. The end.

Oh well.
