Scott I can't thank you enough for shedding light on this brilliant woman. I also tweeted this, but had to reinforce how important such interviews are for someone like me directly on your blog. I understand the sometimes conflict ridden dualities Amma Asante speaks of: being myself both Sierra Leonean and American, woman and black. I am so encouraged by her success and will definitely be supporting BELLA's premiere at the NY African Film Festival. Keep up the amazing work.
