OK, bear with me, but what about The Crow meets Christine meets Fallen. A man and his family are killed when they are hit by a car involved in a drag race. The drivers escape but the soul/ghost of the guy jumps from car to car (everything from a Pacer to an ice cream van to a ten ton truck) to eliminate one by one the drag racers. Of course, to deal with the last racer he jumps into a muscle car for a mano-a-mano high speed race to the death in the Utah Salt Flats. Damn!

I can see it. Revenge a powerful motivator. We saw it as the Nemesis' driving motivation in Furious 7. The body-jumping idea goes back at least to the 1987 sci-fi flick The Hidden. I like it.

So DSI, are you coming up with these ideas before my posts or after? Because if the latter, that's even more impressive, generating a dumb story idea under time pressure!

On the 8 points, I'm getting sort of a running gag vibe. With whatever else is going on, when it's time to rely on the GPS and one of these incidents happens, you get a sort of Han Solo "It's not my fault" reaction. On #3 I'd love to see "here there be monsters" eventually scroll onto the screen on the GPS. It’s Smokey and the Bandit meets Fast and Furious meets William Gibson. To which I would add, "…meets KITT." As for that super-super-supercharged car…wow. Maybe instead add, "…meets Hooper."
