Wonderful! Clueless is, without a doubt, my favorite teen comedy of all time! And I agree about Amy Heckerling. She's a great writer and director. I haven't seen every movie she's written or directed, but the ones I have seen, I've loved.

You know what? How about I do a write-up for Leon/The Professional? I need an excuse to watch it again.

Great idea. Reminds me I should watch it again myself. I'll also bet many readers haven't seen it, so maybe your post can lure them to watch it.

That seems unlikely. But if it's true, then it's something that needs to be rectified. I also feel like The Fifth Element should be on the list, since it's sort of a sister film to Leon (at least, I've always perceived it as such). Although it's so out there, it really doesn't belong to one era or one culture like any other film on the list. Maybe it belongs in a sci-fi movie month instead.

Scott, I would happily write on The Big Lewbowski. I can watch that film a million times.

I would love to do The Shawshank Redemption if you'd consider that a 90s classic?
