IF Shane ever needs a friend, he should call on me...

Jealous is an unfortunate thing. What SHOULD be remembered is what an AWESOME film "Leathal Weapon" was. Shane wrote it. He deserves ALL the acolades that come with it. Too bad his band of buddies disolved. Somethings in life start off so well, but end poorly, like a divorced marriage. Live and learn, grow and move on. TRY to remember the good.

Shane Black will ALWAYS be a hero in the relm of screenwriters to me. And I'd LOVE to be on friendly terms with him someday...

You should keep track of some of the film festivals, particularly the Austin Fest. Black has been there several times, including this last October. Festivals a great place to schmooze.
