Just a (probably flawed) thought: I know that the very nature of a companion might not allow it to determine a protagonist's archetypical affiliation, but what about "The Blind Side" and "Driving Miss Daisy"? Being a companion is in a certain way a distinctive trait of the protagonists in these films, no?
