Two years of rewriting on the same script. That is dedication. I am very curious to find out why he choose the ending that he did. Also curious to see how much of it changed from his script to what they actually shot. Hopefully it will be answered in the third part. Thanks for the interview. Valuable information.

We cover both questions in the rest of the interview. And yes... 2 years and dozens of rewrites IS dedication.

Aarons break into the business as a screenwriter clearly shows how important it is to have people at your side, who belive in your talent. Dedication is simply not enough. You have to meet the right people at the right time. Aaron did, which turned out into a promissing career.

I made 4 different people watch this movie with me... so I watched it 5 times ;) I don't hate this movie. I really liked how dark (literally and figuratively) and sort of slow rolling it was. As a parent of two little boys, it was definitely hard to watch but very well done. Interesting to learn about how many actors become "attached" to a project and who ends up in the actual film - can't imagine anyone else in those roles. My question would be: after writing a spec and having YOUR baby come to life - your story, your characters, your dialogue, etc - is it scary to be contracted to write something that's not your brainchild? Someone else's idea, story, plot, etc...? More pressure?
