This has truly been a great series, thanks so much for your lovely write-ups Matthew. (and congrat on your clearly much deserved success!) Y'know if you movie folk REALLY wanna' test your mettle you'd move that little fest o' yours from the Park City wimps to MY neck of the woods, Southeastern Wisconsin. It would be a long grind, and success (whatever degree I achieved) would be defined and made possible in part by my long, obstinate struggle. It was a narrative I took some comfort in, and looking back on it now, I have to say– I’ve never been happier to be wrong in my life. Sounds like you had a lot of fun at Sundance, Matthew. In my view you were both right and wrong; your long obstinate struggle meant you were ready when you sought out and found your magical moment.
