Best rescue scene in this movie--which has many--may be the one up front when the bus has crashed and the prisoners are trying to escape. Kimble stays behind to help the trapped man, even as the train is pounding down the tracks--and then jumps out the window at the last minute. Fabulous. And it still packs a punch, even after seeing it a dozen times.

I had the opportunity to work with Roy Huggins, who created such TV shows as The Fugitive and The Rockford Files, on a TV pilot for NBC with Roy as exec producer. Told a lot of great stories. He had an interesting way of breaking a story: He would go in a straight linear fashion, one scene to the next. Also when he was stuck, he liked to get in his car and drive. He found the act of driving freed up a part of his brain, and he'd sort of just go wherever until he figured out the story problem. One time, he was REALLY stuck, got in his car, and finally figured it out only to discover... he'd driven to Arizona!
