Kudos to Mark. I've read four scripts so far this year, and maybe 10 or so in the last 4-5 weeks. I should start keeping a log, see if I can match Mark's accomplishment.

Look, I get it. Reading scripts is frequently a strange experience. Basically it's akin to an architect sitting around staring at blueprints for buildings already constructed. But get this... A close friend of mine is an architect. Guess what he does early in the mornings and on weekends? "I get a coffee and sit around and stare at blueprints for buildings already constructed." He and I have come to the conclusion that our jobs are one and the same. (the only difference is that he's dying to write a script and I have absolutely zero desire to draw a skyscraper!)
