This one of those movies that nearly the entire African-American community knows by heart. I could walk up to another brotha or sista and just be like, "He beat Joe Louis's ass" and we'll all be rolling on the floor. It's arguable but I think is a near-perfect comedy. The story, the script, the performances -- even Queens itself becomes a major supporting character.
