I've loved your interview series with Kelly Marcel, she sounds like a blast. I have a question about not outlining and working on assignment. What was her process for the 50 Shades of Grey & Little Mermaid assignments if she didn't give them an outline, did she write a treatment, or did they just go off the strength of her writing samples and the fact that each is an adaption, so they didn't need a treatment or outline? Also, without outlining is it harder for her to land writing assignments or does she acquire assignments through pitching instead?
