IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam) is having its 43th edition from 22 januari - 2 februari 2014. It's the fourth greatest Indie film festival in Europe. I don't know if this could be something to add to the calendar.

I know Thanksgiving has passed, but I'm thankful for this!

I particularly like the firs two suggestions! And my own suggestion: An electronic calender can be made such as a google calender. There you can create any number of different calenders, each with a different colour - ie red for competition deadlines, blue for tv network competitions. The user can then select which ever coloured calenders they want to look at and not look at. It could also be updated continually for everyone to access, unlike a PDF. You can set events to recur monthly/yearly etc. Users can also generate their own print out using any of their own settings to stick up on their walls.

Film Independent has a screenwriting lab that will begin accepting applications from March until about May 2014. It's five weeks long and meets 2-3 days a week in LA. The deadline for the Sundance screenwriting lab is May 1, 2014 for US applicants, August 15, 2014 for international.

Scott, I think you have covered everything in your list. This calendar thing is fantastic. Thanks Shaula and Scott - Shaula, glad we are getting something solid now per all those discussions on the blackboard! Extraordinarily helpful down the road.

I think this is brilliant and I would love to have it. Great idea!

Just a thought... what about including a well-known script on each Monday? A "suggested read" for each week? You talk about the importance of reading scripts, so this might help remind a few writers out there ever week.

YES! I've tried to keep track of everything, but there's so much... or so much I wouldn't normally know/think about. Great suggestion!

Would you be able to make the calendar a Google Calendar or some other kind that we can add to our own personal calendars? That way when you update the Writer's Calendar, it will also update on our calendars in real-time.
