Adding to yesterday, love hearing about screenwriters who started out at video rental stores. Reminds of Clerks a little bit too. I think it's awesome that she was still at the rental store while writing an eventual Spielberg television show. I always loved going to rental stores as a kid and finally got two work at two different Blockbuster stores while in college. Great way to stock up on movies and the biggest perk was getting rentals before they were released. The free rentals really allowed me to see films I would have never seen before.

Loving this interview so far! Not to mention she's a gal - I remember Terra Nova very well - it had promise but then it faltered after the first episode. Glad there's an explanation now for that.
