Scott, I was in this class and we are blessed to have you as our teacher and glad you stumbled into teaching and stayed or we would have these pearls of writing wisdom every day. Re: Ellen's quote, I am currently experiencing this myself big-time certainly makes the stories richer.. I think we like to think we are holding the reins/pen - but it's usually the other way around.
