I really liked Hannah in a bravo kind of way and it shows there's heavy shit going on in your brain. I think this interview was very illustrative of how you (I mean writers) can put your writing demons to work for you even if you can't conquer them. My daily routine in my non-fiction writing job is all hard deadlines but my own fiction writing is muddled by overwriting and lack of confidence. I think I have to threaten to fire myself. About starting by writing the ending: I suppose this is like knowing what the ending is, writing it in some sort of preliminary form, and not worrying if the final product is different so long that it is better. Am I right?
