Scott, thanks for this! I am using the Pomodoro as we speak. I use the 'freedom' app to disable the internet. The one thing I struggle with occasionally is the allocation of time to do other things - but I think I gotta go more military style... and I also beg my family to babysit, if I need more time. Work the set hours like you mentioned - and when I don't get enough done, also wake up really early. The other thing that works is setting realistic goals - I used to crawl with the pages each day - but discipline can go a LONG way... now it's just a matter of staying organized.
