Hey Seth, Thanks for the interview, it's one of the best so far this year. I could really relate to when you were describing sending out cold email queries. I went through the same thing, basically emailing any address I could find. I actually did any fax number I could find on IMDB Pro too (without nay luck.) It wasn't until I actually researched, buckled down and focused on production companies that worked within the genre until I started getting reads. The targeted reads led to my first assignments and it finally paid off. Question: With "Hanna", you got to create your own world, characters and everything was developed by you. Earlier you mentioned a draft of "Shadow of the Colossus." Do you feel more limited about your creative process when dealing with a video game, or how do the differences compare? Not only that, but you have the stigma of "video game movies" in general. With Shadow, it seems a little more open-ended, but I'd love to hear about your process. Also, I loved the abandoned amusement park stuff in Hanna. There's something amazing about viewing galleries of them online and it really came to life in the movie. thanks again!
