Yes, I'm psyched, but I'm one of those few people who actually love writing first drafts - I'm in it for the discovery process as much as for the writing. If I feel I have one strength in my writing process, it's the ability to write a first draft. I know I will rewrite and rewrite some more and I need to improve upon that process, but the first draft is a golden spot for me.
