Very surprised no one responded to this as the sequence method seems to have gained a significant foothold in the online screenwriting universe. Myself, I'm an Old School kind of guy, more oriented toward character and zeroing in on key Plotline points, but I have found that the sequence method dovetails quite nicely with my Narrative Throughline approach. Plus there are two added benefits for the writer:
(1) If you work with sequences, you create a set of 'mini-stories,' each with their own beginning-middle-end arc.
(2) As opposed to facing a 110-120 page script, instead you can think about writing this sequence, that sequence, each anywhere from 10-15 pages, a much less daunting task.
Does ANYBODY out there use the sequence approach?
