INT. BATHROOM - DAY Mark barges into the bathroom - to find Jimmy, in a robe and fluffy rabbit slippers, brushing his teeth. JIMMY: (mouth full of toothpaste) What the hell are you doing here? Gina follows him in, embarrassed. GINA: Mark has got it into his head that I'm some kind of super spy. MARK: NSA deep-cover agent. He throws open the medicine cabinet. JIMMY: Mark, it's gone midnight. Go home. MARK: See? Cyclacadine and dihemel. Combine those and add oxygen - boom! JIMMY: They're supposed to *stop* ya going boom, Mark. They're indigestion remedies. MARK: And this? Kalthene. Powerful anaesthetic. Drop some of this into someone's coffee- JIMMY: Only thing putting me to sleep is your story. Just. Go. Home. He slams the medicine cabinet shut - and it falls off the wall. Revealing a hollow in the wall containing a handgun and a walkie-talkie. Gina grimaces. GINA: I never actually said he was wrong...

INT. PAM's BATHROOM - DAY Having obviously just woken, Pam schlepps her groggy, wobbly ass to the sink. Our POV is her frazzled reflection in the medicine cabinet. PAM (V.O.): G'morning, sunshine. Pam's reaction is a mixture of fright and disgust. PAM (V.O.): Holy hell. What's goin' on here! You look... horrible. Switches to pathetic despair at the sight of herself. PAM (V.O.): Oh my god. When's the last time you washed your face? You look like death. Leans in. Face goes back to disgust. PAM (V.O.): Is that a zit? (beat) Seriously, girl, what's wrong with you? Did we drink last night? What time is it? D'oh! Exaggerated gagging. Her head disappears down and to the left and we hear heaving, gagging, and heavy breathing. Back to the mirror. She looks horrid. PAM (V.O.): Gross. Brush your teeth. And don't forget to swish. She looks down as she reaches for her toothbrush and instantly gags. PAM (V.O.): It's just a toothbrush, girl. Shove it in there and brush. She looks at herself and takes some deep breaths as she squeezes some toothpaste onto the brush. She can't do it. She's gonna vomit. PAM (V.O.): Stop staring at it and brush! Take a deep breath and just plunge it in there. G'head... and in 'n out and in 'n out... This is a painfully slow, gag-filled brushing effort. PAM (V.O.): There you go. (beat) What the...? Back down to the toilet. More gags. PAM (V.O.): Ugh. Here we go... Back up to her sickly reflection. She stares at the toothbrush like it's going to kill her. PAM (V.O.): Let's try this again. In walks her perky, uber excited husband. BEN: (perky) Hey, hun. She fakes a smile. His head goes just out of shot as he nuzzles her belly. BEN: (baby voice) How's that little beaner bun in the oven doing? How's my li'l schnookum wookums? Pam's eyes begin to roll. PAM (V.O.): Ugh. Gag me. NO NO WAIT- Back down to the toilet. More heaves. Then back up to the mirror. Agony. PAM (V.O.): Is this... morning sickness? It's 3 in the afternoon. Ben's completely oblivious and is still so enamored with his wife and her alien zygote. BEN: (oblivious) You're gonna be the best mommy on the planet, hon. Freeze frame on her eyes about to pop as she gags on her toothbrush. PAM (V.O.): Kill me. Kill me now.

INT. BATHROOM, JOHNSON HOME - DAY Cardboard boxes lie strewn on the painter's tarp covering the floor of this beautiful, Bali inspired bathroom. Various tools lie on a towel placed on the toilet seat, while a half assembled medicine cabinet lies on the covered sink. Sheet of paper in hand, Mike stands perplexed, his eyes flicking from paper to cabinet to wall, as he tries to decypher that particular mix of eight languages that constitute the assembly instructions. Wendy enters, coffee in hand. Hands him the mug. WENDY: I thought you'd like something. Mike takes a sip. MIKE: Thanks... you got a minute? I could use your help to put up the cabinet... it's a lot easier with two people. WENDY: Sure. Mike takes another sip, puts down his coffee mug next to his tools. He grabs an electric screwdriver, handful of screws, passes them to Wendy. -- He points to the green anchors in the wall. MIKE: Right there. WENDY: Got it... By the way, your sister Sally called. MIKE: What the hell does she want? WENDY: She's invited us over for dinner... Your mother's in town for a few days. Mike lifts the cabinet, aligns the holes... Cabinet slips slightly, he readjusts. Wendy inserts the first screw. MIKE: Oh great. WENDY: You two still not talking? MIKE: We've got nothing to say. Mike moves the cabinet a little, Wendy adds the second screw. WENDY: C'mon Mike, she's your mother... When is this grudge of yours gonna stop? MIKE: When she apologizes. WENDY: For what? The cabinet now hangs in place on the sink wall. Mike eyes Wendy, gently snatches the screwdriver back. MIKE: Thanks... For what? Really? Are she and my sister still acting all innocent? Mike starts inserting the other screws. Wendy glares at him. WENDY: Talk to her... for me... please? Mike stops what he's doing, faces Wendy. MIKE: Wendy, you know I love you more than anybody in this world and I couldn't live a day without you... And I know you're trying to help, but don't ask me to do that, ever again. (sternly) I mean it.

INT Bathroom: An open medicine cabinet lined with prescription pill bottles. A hand, fingernails freshly painted and bangles on the wrist, quickly comes into frame, placing one on the shelf, and picking another one. Voice: The last one is Gentak, easier to spell than those others. Beat the owner of the voice is listening to the phone. Voice: Eyesight? Well he does wear glasses. The hand closes the medicine cabinet and we see the reflection of LACEY. 20’s, makeup on and well dressed. Lacey: So he’s a depressed, hemophiliac with bad eyesight who drinks fish oil for “memory loss?” What’s the serial killer potential? Beat. Lacey: Ok, I’ll give him five minutes, delete messages I had with him on SavvySingle.com and change my number on Monday. Lacey hangs up her cell phone. She splashes some water across her face and strategically ruffles some of her hair and dress. She turns the knob and enters the main of the apartment. INT: Apartment. Modestly decorated. Sitting on a couch with a glass of wine is CHRIS, Joe average. He’s nervous. He stands up when Lacey walks in. Chris: Hi, is everything ok? I poured you a glass of wine. Lacey feigns sickness. Lacey: Oh yeah, sorry. I’m not feeling too well. Chris: Gosh, I’m sorry, do you need to go? Lacey: No, I mean, I think, I’ll be ok. Lacey takes a hold of the glass and gives it some light inspection. Chris looks puzzled. Lacey lets out a flirty/nervous laugh to cover the action. Lacey: So, tonight, we’re going to a movie? Chris: Yeah, I booked us for a screening of 16 Candles, you had said it was your favorite. Chris waits for a second then a thought comes to him. Chris: Oh I, remember from your profile you said something about Mediterranean food, so I made some fresh baklava so we can have a snack before leaving. Push in, past a sink of used cooking utensils, on a plate of baklava. Lacey gives it a look over. It looks perfect, Lacey: You made this for me? Chris: Yeah, sorry if it’s not good, I just found a recipe and wanted to try it out. Chris goes over to the Baklava, next to it is his utensil his, and knife block. Lacey holds her breath for a second. Chris thinks, then opens a drawer and pulls out a pastry server. Chris: Do you want a piece? Lacey: Ok. Chris pulls out two plates and serves two portions. He hands one to Lacey. She waits until he takes a bite, then takes one herself. Lacey: Wow, this is good. Thank you for making it. Chris: no problem, I just wanted to make a good impression. I just don’t date a lot, so I want to do something special for someone. Lacey, smiles, she puts down the baklava. A total change of heart. Lacey: So what time is this movie? Chris: About 30 minutes, do you think you’re well enough to go? Lacey: Well, maybe we could just stay in and find something on TV. Chris: Great, let me pack this up, you find something to watch and I’ll join you. Lacey: Just no reality TV, right? Chris: Oh, so I’m not the only one reading dating profiles now? The two laugh. Lacey pulls out her phone. Lacey: I was reviewing it the whole way over in the cab. Chris laughs. Chris: Ok, well, maybe a reality show, I’ll watch whatever you want to. Lacey smiles and leaves smitten. She sits down at a couch on the other side. In the kitchen Chris wraps one piece of Baklava and throws the other out. We see a glimpse of a takeout box stenciled with GREEKOS KOUZINA. He takes the pastry server, wipes it on his shirt and puts it back in the drawer. Chris turns back to the knife block and clean utensils from earlier. And this time pulls a knife. Chris: Lacey did you find something yet? Lacey: Yeah an old episode of Friends. Chris: Good, I’ll be right in. Chris tucks the knife up his sleeve and goes to join Lacey.

Debbie Moon, I really liked how tight this scene is, it delivers and gets the point across really quickly. I can see the Mark character really trying to sell this idea to Jimmy, My questions with the scene are, about Jimmy. Is he in on Gina's secret? Its kind of (softly) implied (not sure if you meant it or not, if so it's a cool wrinkle) with the Kalthene (Jimmy doesn't offer a denial like the previous medicines, instead its deflected with a comment).

INT. BATHROOM - DAY Danny lies face down on the floor. The bathroom light flickers above. Danny JOLTS awake, his breathing is sharp fearful. He sits up takes in his bloody surroundings lying in a puddle of blood his clothes saturated. Bloody hand prints smear the bathroom. DANNYS POV looking down at his hands sodden in blood. DANNY:No...No. Danny slides back against the wall grasping at his bloody clothes. DANNY:No...please...no. Danny drags himself up stumbles slides through the blood to the door snatching the door handle, rattles it, wont budge. Slams the door hard pulls with all his strength the door doesn't give one bit. DANNY:Please...stop this...please. (Slamming the door) STOP THIS! The bathroom light flickers. Danny turns towards the medicine cabinet mirror above the sink. Something about his reflection catches his eye. Danny edges up to the medicine cabinet. Danny stands before the mirror he inspects his eyes they are bloodshot hemorrhaged not his own they are REDS EYES glaring back at him. DANNY:What did you do? Danny continues to stare at himself in the mirror. DANNY:Where are they...What did you do! (Temper rising) Answer me! Reds eyes stare back unblinking. DANNY:ANSWER ME! Reds eyes pulse a flicker of exultation. Danny grabs the medicine cabinet shakes it. DANNY:WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! Danny pounds on the medicine cabinet. DANNY: WHERE ARE THEY! Danny hammers the mirror with his fist. DANNY:WHAT DID YOU DO! Danny pounds the mirror again and again cracking it, shards of glass fall off in to the sink. Danny unleashes a flurry of furious punches. DANNY:TELL ME! The contents of the medicine cabinet spill out into the sink as Danny grabs the cabinet with all his strength pulling it off the wall smashing it on the floor. Catching his breath he grips the sink looks at his hands a dozen bloody splinters of glass in his knuckles. DANNY POV in the sink. The PILLS. Danny picks up the pills, catches Reds eyes glaring back from every shard in the sink. Danny looks at the pills then down at Reds reflections in the shards of glass. DANNY:Ill do it. Reds eyes widen. Danny grimaces as fresh blood flows from the wounds as he opens the pills. Danny trembles with fear. A look of defeat Danny brings the pills to his mouth, hesitates. Then empties the contents of the whole pill box into his mouth, tosses the empty bottle away. He chokes, gags struggles to swallow. He cups water into his mouth from the sink with his hand. Danny holds a defiant stare with Red. DANNY:See i can do it. Im not afraid do you hear me? A beat. DANNY:I AM NOT AFRAID! Danny continues to hold his gaze with Red. A beat. Dannys stomach gurgles and growls. Danny swallows hard. Trembling harder now. Then dropping to his knees Danny forces his fingers down his throat vomiting violently into the toilet. Danny grabs his stomach tight as he throws up his face a contortion of pain and fear, eyes bulging as he struggles to bring up the last of the pills. Finally he grabs a breath. Begins to sob uncontrollably. Reds eyes gleam with satisfaction from a broken pieces of mirror on the floor next to the sink. Danny notices Red glaring from the shard under the sink. Danny reaches out grabs it looks straight into Reds eyes. DANNY:Stop laughing at me! Danny brings the shard up hard toward his throat a few millimeters from his jugular when...SUDDENLY. Danny's hand is CRUSHED by and invisible force the mirror shard implodes in his hand. Danny screams in agony. The invisible force moves up his arm SNAPPING and BENDING his forearm at an unthinkable agonizing angle. Danny wails in agony then his SHOULDER POPS. His other arm FOLDS itself up unnaturally his fingers SNAP and POP. DANNY:NO! NO! NO! AHHHHHH! His legs BUCKLE and TWIST. Its as if Danny is in some kind of invisible torture device. His torso contorts, Ribs CRACK. Danny HOWLS in agony as his rib cage folds in cutting off his agonizing screams. His head is crushed his left eye socket folds in on itself leaving only his Right eye rolling in agony. Danny, contorted beyond recognition his screams nothing more now than pathetic whines. The walls of the bathroom begin to creak. Tiles splinter. The sink cracks. Water pipes explode from behind tiles. Water pours from the walls. Danny's eye can only flutter in helpless terror. The walls begin to shift, merge, fusing with the ceiling . The room rotates, coils inward tighter. The shattered contents of the room slide to the center along with Danny. The light bulb fizzes, pops. The room creaks up tighter and tighter. Danny is swallowed up in complete darkness. A beat of silence.
