INT. TAXICAB, LAS VEGAS - DAY
Just having banked their outrageous casino winnings, Billy and Dusty
happily canoodle in the back of the cab.
Through the windshield we see the sights of the Vegas strip, and in
the rear-view mirror: world weary eyes of a Vegas cabby who's seen it
all... and I mean *everything*.
A few blocks ahead, sign for an Elvis themed wedding chapel.
Billy nudges her.
BILLY: Elvis... what do you say?
DUSTY: You wanna get married?
BILLY: Yeah, right now... today.
DUSTY: Okay.
Billy looks a little stunned... not the answer he was expecting.
BILLY: Seriously?
DUSTY: Seriously.
BILLY: I thought you're only with me for my money.
DUSTY: I'm using you for sex, too... and I wanna continue to do
that for the rest of my life.
Dusty gazes into Billy's eyes.
DUSTY: You're the only man I've met who treats me with respect and
not like a piece of meat. Do you love me?
BILLY: Truly... madly...
DUSTY: You're not playing around, are you? You really want to do this?
BILLY: Absolutely.
DUSTY: Me too... In that case, Billy Ray Johnson, of course I'll be
your wife.
They kiss, like they're slowly trying to suck out each other's life.
Finally, they for air.
DUSTY: But we need to hold off for a little bit.
BILLY: Why?
DUSTY: Before we let Elvis do the honors, I need a dress... a real
wedding dress, a *white* wedding dress.
Billy grins, knocks on the plexiglass panel that protects the
driver.
BILLY: My man, change of plan --
CABBY: -- say no more, I know just the place.
