Mud, Mud, Mud, Mud. There's not enough that can be said about this film. It's no surprise it's at the top of the list. Same with The Way, Way Back. What I can't figure out about Mud is it's a project of Arkansas home boys, shot in Arkansas, about Arkansas (oh, but that last visual) but we couldn't find it screening in Arkansas. Kansas was the closest. Wassup with that. A twitter friend also drew my attention to LUV. Wow. It's not a new release but it deserves attention. Thank you for continuing to bring these films to our awareness. They prove a good, tight script with a strong story has an audience.

Given my limited options round here, the closest thing to an indie film that I can manage is The World's End, so that will have to do...

Let me know what you think about The World's End ... looking forward to that. Seems like a fun one!
