Thanks to Jeffrey for these five amazing interviews. Mr. Lieber lays out the story and the environment of his writer's odyssey in a way that merits its own TV series. IMHO his quote "I went to the theater conservatory at the University of Illinois, so I had four years of Shakespeare and Chekhov and Ibsen and all that sort of stuff" is key. 'Writing education' or not, you need some kind a robust classical foundation early on because it's a whole lot harder to acquire by osmosis.
