One item not mentioned in the interviews is the tremendous amount of advice he shares on Done Deal Pro forums. He's essentially a tough love counselor for writers over there, and it's all public and available to read. I value that so much that I copy all of his advice to a file that I read when I need a boost or a reminder. The file has grown to more than 100 pages.

Got over 700,000 word blog up (sort of lengthy story arcs or readable film treatments)plus (like everybody else) various spec scripts. But HOW do I get an agent? they refuse to even sanction my right to LIVE without a heavyweight 'who sent you?' and I don't know anyone. It's frustrating and scary. Very scary...
