If I knew the answer to this, I'd be in the Quest ;) I get the logline's purpose and need for that hook - the grab - but when I have to put it to practical use, I completely lose what the hell the story's about in the first place, or focus on something else within the story rather than the "concept". I think I can also tell a good logline from a bad, but don't ask me to put mine or anyone else's story/concept into a functional one. I f'ing hate loglines.

Think of it as being able to control your entry in the TV Guide when your film appears on TV after its theatrical release. Maybe that will inspire you to love them.
