OMG! The greatest ending to a film EVER! It ran the whole gamut of emotions; hate, love, honor, duty, fear, faith, hope, more love, loss, grief, anguish, revenge, redemption, and did I say love? The scene where Uncas looks into Alice's eyes, and they know this is the end for him, and her leaping off of the cliff for him. Magua maybe, just maybe, realizing what love is. I was so taken aback by this film, it just left me numb, with joy. Not a word was spoken as you mentioned, in the last few minutes! Great film making.
