Well, it probably wouldn't get a high score on the Black List, but this may just be my next project... Our story involves a confused, half-British, French ex-cop gumshoe in the prime of his life and his shy and reclusive German/American female bit part actor fiancé, called Agatha (who depends on him for financial security). They must go on the lam one day from London, risking all, to a mysterious city in Afghanistan with a young British boy aged five or six (his age is not clear, he likes keeping it a secret) and his family (who are prominent, outlaw from the cops, scientists from the Hudson academic school of artificial intelligence, assigned to writing a book on discovering the law of deadly, psychological magic transformation sex desire mythology in man) via boats and planes (in that order) during the 60s, in desperate times, to track down the knife-wielding criminal business men traders who kidnapped and held captive, tied to a truss, the ex-cop’s missing single kid brother DJ, Agatha’s new writer/agent and an editor friend of the family (whose name they could not remember). Held in the local mega-mall, based on one built in Bermuda, they must find them in order to save them, get them free and bring them back home all while avoiding detection. As they infiltrate a re-enactment of some historic battles, they locate and take the last, rarest tank left before the show begins its run, a tragic tale of events and death set in the days of an uprising of terrorists discovering a plot of mistaken identity and something about a falling dictator who cops it and gets sent down in a blaze of glory to the sound of a world music band covering hits of the day. The group discovers and befriends a football cup player, once framed by the criminals and freshly out of captivity, who is amused by their quest and experienced at handling the types of tank they are inside. Forever in his debt they will stop at nothing to make their moves in order to spoil the evil plan and discover the way to the secret base containing their friends, before the God-like crime lords turn them into electronic metallic troops for enslaving the local humans, keeping them in check through enforcement, and compromising their traditional lives, love relationships and the future of everything. I think that is every word.....please let it be, my eyes hurt....
