Yeah, kind of realized that I submitted way to many concepts. Ashamed to admit how many. Really appreciate that you read through all of them, and especially appreciate the free class on Dialogue - it hit exactly what I needed right then in my writing. I'm going to submit just one concept. That will force me to work it over until I get it right. Thanks for doing this again! Question: Last time you wanted us to put genre in as well. Do you mean logline only strictly and we should make any other info obvious through our logline, or should we include other info like genre, this movie plus that, etc.?

Good question. That is one consideration in writing a logline: Making clear what genre it is. Not always clear. For example K-9: "A rogue cop gets a new partner: A police dog." That feels like an action comedy, but I suppose it could also describe a thriller or some other genre. OTOH you don't want to weigh down a logline with extraneous language a la: "In this outrageous comedy..." So push comes to shove, just write as steamlined a logline as you can, a title if you have one, and genre. Title Genre Logline Just like that would be good.

Do you consider the Independent Caucus at WGAW members to be WGA members? The WGA themselves do not, unless they have met the regular qualifications for joining as a regular member (in which case, I have not). Memeberships to the Independent Caucus are extended to recent film school graduates and others with little experience.

Christina, that's fine. Basically I want to make The Quest Initiative about providing opportunities for writers OUTSIDE the system, hence no Guild members. But Independent Caucus affiliation is okay.
