My role models are Nora Ephron, Carrie Fischer, Ruth Prawer Jhabvala, Martha Coolidge, Leslie Dixon, Roby Swicord and many more. I think women need to be more in the game and step into the lime light. It's up to them to change it. The numbers won't hold me back as budding screenwriter.

Misha Green. Her screenplay SUNFLOWER was IMO maybe the most engrossing read of the past few years, and attracted the attention of William Friedkin and Wes Craven, although in the end neither director followed through. I'd like to see Lynne Ramsay, Mary Harron, or Lucrecia Martel take a crack at it.
