Congrats on sooooo many levels, dude. My artistic-writing-moviemaking career took a similar path like yours; mine was losing my kid brother early on to suicide and my father to health problems years ahead of his time, which finally led me to graduate film school at UCLA. Every time I've been ready to abandon screenwriting and movie making for just pure fiction writing, another career moment happens...another door opens; another success happens...and it wakes me up all over again to what I'm really supposed to do with my life.
