Well, I used to sign off with "regards" - might need to rethink that strategy..... :-)

Scott, you are hilarious - I still use 'regards/Thanks and sometimes ttys/talk to you soon'. I used to say 'many thanks' and 'cheers!' - good thing I gave up on that! And 'sincerely' seems kinda stiff too in my opinion...but that's just me.

I almost always use None - a combination of “I don’t want to waste your time with nonsense.” and “I’m too indecisive to think about a proper sign-off.” I guess. But, if it is necessary, and a very personal email, then I use "Take care" or "Love". At work, I use "Thanks" often. Does no one use "Yours" or "Yours Truly" or "Sincerely" anymore?

I almost always use "Thanks" -- sometimes "Thanks a million" if I'm asking for a big favor ... :)

I'm cackling at some of the comments on that article. "Here are my regards, I kept them warm for you." I rarely use a signoff. I might use some variation of "Thank you" sometimes, but for the most part any other signoff I try to use feels affected.
