Hi Scott! I want to attend this webinar, but I will be trapped at my miserable day job while you are holding it. As much as I'd like to try to sneak in and participate while pretending to be productive, I know that will be the moment someone enters my cubicle and hands me an assignment that must be completed immediately. I see the description above indicates that a registrant can receive a transcript of the webinar even if she does not attend. Do you think it is still worth the registration fee to sign up, knowing I cannot attend, and simply watch the transcript later? Would I still be eligible to submit a logline for personal review and analysis? Thanks so much. Kristin

Scott, would loglines submitted through this seminar be ineligible for submission for The Quest?

Kristin, I definitely think it would be worth it. It's not just the written content that comes with the webinar, but a recorded version as well. And you have access to that for up to 1 year from the date of the live event. And yes, you could submit a logline for analysis regardless of whether you can attend the live webinar or not.

Erica, loglines you send along for analysis in the webinar are eligible for The Quest Initiative. One of the reasons I'm running the webinar now is - hopefully - to kick-start people's creative process re stories in preparation for TQI, the submission period for which begins in May. As you may know from last year, one of the major ways I assess loglines for TQI is my perception of its commercial viability, and this webinar speaks directly to that on many levels.
